Good stories make all the difference. They help us imagine a better world. They deepen our connections to the places we live in, and to each other. They heal damaged places, communities, and people. They help us better understand our own lives.

For over thirty years, I have helped writers improve their stories, deepen their stories, and bring their stories to the next level. It is my passion to make the most of what I have learned about writing and publishing and share it with others.

For many writers, this means becoming better, more confident writers who embrace a regular, rigorous practice and know to tap into their own creativity. For others, it means developing a concept for a worthy article or book. For some, it means finishing a project that is already in progress. And for some, it means bringing a finished project to the level of publication.

My background in publishing, book editing, magazine editing, and writing instruction make me an ideal person to lead this work.
